With component video becoming less available on video devices it’s time for a way to switch video via a Russound RNET based controller. Solution — Myro:Bridge and a Wyrestorm MTA4T220 4×2 HDMI Matrix Switcher. The firmware is being tested right now and should be available in the coming weeks.
This combination will allow you to setup which Russound zones you want to be mapped to which HDMI port. Currently, you will be limited to selection/programming of 4 sources to 2 different zones as the most economical option is a 4×2, however, Wyrestorm offers 4×4, 4×8 and 8×8 models as well.
