Hi, i need to know how many zones of wyrestorm are supported. I Can multiple wirestrom units stacked together be controlled via Russound stacked units.? I have an installation that consists of 3 c5 units connected together via r-net. I think we will need more than 1 matrix. Will myro talk to both matrices?

Hi, yes you can use a single Myro:Bridge with multiple connected Russound controllers.  We currently support up to 16 zones.   How many video sources and outputs will your 3 C5 need?

You can also daily chain Myro:Bridges together to control 2 8x8's or 4x8, etc.  Or you can use 2 Key Digital Matrix and use a single Myro:Bridge with our Key Digital (Daisy-chained A01/A02 Prefix) feature.  This works great and limits the need to manage two Myro:Bridges.

Lots of options -- but please provide a bit more detail on how many inputs / outputs you plan on using with this project.

Tech Notes / FAQ / Russound: Setting Myro:Link ID to RNET ID (Source)
« Last post by Myro Control on April 25, 2014, 08:48:46 am »
If you are setting up a Myro:Air to work with a Russound system, it has been tested to work with the following RNET based Russound systems:

- CAM
- CAV
- E-Series (Sphere)
- C-Series (C3/C5)

To use Myro:Air as a Russound "Smart Source" you need to setup as you would an "iBridge Dock".     Typical settings for CAV is setting the Command type as "Peripheral" and the Myro:Link ID to match the Source number (e.g. Myro:Air connected to Source 2 input, set Myro:Link ID to 2).

For E & C-Series systems, you setup the source in the windows system configuration software (SCS).  Select the source and apply the "iBridge Dock" template to the source input.

Please note: We advise not to connect Myro:Air to Source Input 1 (Myro:Link ID 1) because that is typically reserved for the built in AM/FM radio of the C3/C5.   We have also experienced issues with CAM/CAV when using ID 1.

For sure!   Key Digital has a single protocol for their switchers which makes it very nice to integrate with.   That said, if you plan on "daisy changing" 4x8's to accomplish a 4x16, our firmware has another setting you can do this only with Key Digital.
