Pandora refuses to stay "paused"
« on: December 09, 2019, 03:20:51 am »
Using the My:Ro bridge with a Sonos sourcing to a Russound MCA-C3 and MDK-C6 keypads and the android Sonos app. It seems that although I pause the music stream in the Sonos app, it will eventually "un-pause" itself. I deduce this because although I pause the stream and power off the MCA-C3, when I check the app later, it is no longer paused. Is this related to the my:ro feature allowing uninterrupted play of Pandora? Is there a problem with letting the Pandora stream even without any amplifiers/speakers on? I want to be respectful and not cause Pandora royalty fees for music when I'm not listening. This doesn't happen with other music channels in my Sonos. (i.e. google play, music on device, etc) Any thoughts? Insights?

Hi!  Yes, it will auto resume if on the Pandora source... however, it should timeout if no controller is tuned to that source and/or the system is off.
