Hi!  I'm proud to announce that Myro:Home Helper for Leviton/HAI has been approved and released in the MacOS store.

This application can standalone to enhance your Leviton/HAI system (expose units as HomeKit accessories, etc) or be used with our Myro:Home iOS app to enable push notifications, etc. (in development).

Here is a direct link to the Mac App Store:

Thanks for your support!

Firmware / Re: Firmware updates

Yes, we should already have support for this model -- if not -- please send us the serial protocol and we'll add it.

Hi!  Still no word -- will keep trying to get details... but may be to small of a company to get attention until they roll out all the bigger players.

Hi!  Not sure if you are already part of the beta testing?  If not, we're almost code complete... been heads down on both the Helper and the iOS app.

Will have more updates in the next few months...

Hi!  Hoping to -- Apple has been mum on 3rd party, well I should say, I haven't heard anything but we're small compared to the Tier 1 audio companies (Sonos, Denon, etc).

Myro:Air AirPlay does work wirelessly if connected to your wireless router.  We just didn't include onboard wifi because we found if not setup correctly (Myro:Air receiving full Wifi signal) dropouts would occur.

Hi,

Will the myro: bridge work with a Monoprice BlackBird 8x8?

Please create a support ticket with the control protocol and we can add support if it's not already covered by one of the other protocols we support.

Create a support ticket with your email address and I will send you the latest beta of MHH.

@JPP, that is an option.   I'll add your name to the beta list.  I've already expanded it to a wider audience and once I get those folks testing out the Push Notifications with the helper app, I'll begin the next phase which is the iOS app (which can be used with or without the helper, obviously sans notifications).  Thanks for your interest!

Hi -- yes, added a few more people to the beta testing... that said, unfortunately, I can count the number of interested people on all my fingers and toes that have contacted me about being interested in this project.   It seems based on what I can gauge, this is a fairly limited user base?

Don't fret, this is still very much a pet project of mine as I want it for my own home use (have been using it for months myself) -- it just may not move as quickly as say we had 100's of folks knocking at the door.  Can you help spread the word?

Update: Myro:Home Helper has been in QA (running continuous) for the last couple weeks to make sure there aren't any memory leaks and it's stable enough for Beta release.  Have also tested different types of connection issues to make sure it gracefully reconnects.

So far it's passed -- almost ready to release to a small group to test further.

Thanks!

Hi Danny,

I'm glad to see that you're making progress.  My need for a new solution became more urgent today... I've been using Growl to push notifications from HaikuHelper since iOS push stopped working, but for some reason that I have yet to figure out, Growl also stopped working early this morning.  I don't know if they're having server issues on their end or if something else is broken, but now I have no notifications, and that's a big problem!

How close do you think you are to letting some of us beta test your new app?

Very close — I can release the helper as a download but for the iOS app I’ll need to release it via TestFlight.   The iOS app (for now) is just a simple one that scans the QR code from the helper app and pairs to the notification service.  That will allow you to test the push notifications on your iOS device.

What version of MacOS are you running?  You can send me an email or create a support ticket if you want to communicate about your specifics.

Happy New Year!

Made lots of progress over the holiday break -- squashed lots of bug too.

Push notifications (with custom messaging) and data logging are both complete.

Data logging of any controller object (you enable) to CSV for now — allows for tracking temp changes or zone usage.  Will use that data for ML in the future.

Here is a sneak peek of HomeKit working -- you select the objects you want enabled as HomeKit accessories.
