The upper tier of the new stand will be partially open for the upcoming fixture against Manchester United on December 17, with several thousand general admission seats expected to be available to supporters. This is subject to an internal emergency conditions test managed in conjunction with Liverpool City Council and a public test event, which is expected to take place during the week commencing December 11.
This latest development is earlier than previously expected, following Buckingham Group entering administration in September, and is testimony to the commitment and hard work of everybody connected with this complex and ambitious build project.
There is still more work to be completed before the stand can be fully operational and able to welcome 61,000 fans to Anfield on a matchday.

JUDE BELLINGHAM and World Cup-winner Emi Martinez were playing in the Championship in 2019 along with a host of other stars.
Some were on loan while Bellingham was enjoying his first year as a professional at Birmingham.
The Real Madrid man is the superstar in a line-up from that season, with fans suggesting the side of Championship all-stars would challenge for the Premier League title if they were a team today.
Nine out of 11 players in the team have gone on to represent their country while Martinez, who was on loan at Reading from Arsenal in 2019, won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina.
Rico Henry is the only other player in the squad not to have represented England, but he has impressed since arriving in the Premier League with Brentford.
He is joined on the left flank by £100million man Jack Grealish, who was a talisman for Aston Villa in 2019.

My problem is resolved. No fault of Myro:Home. I have a Cradlepoint Fallback device that gives me full Internet capability using cellular if / when my primary ISP fails. In order for Myro:Home to work with the Cradlepoint Fallback it needed a PortDigger to provide a fixed IP address. The PortDigger people had a problem that they have now resolved. Everything working fine now.

It looks like iOS 16.3 has broken Myro:Home. No change to the Myro:Home app. The only change was updating the iPhone operating system to 16.3.1. Myro:Home now reports that it cannot connect to the controller.
