The address in settings is 192.168.0.63:3005. This is, obviously, an internal IP address - it never loads because that address doesn't exist locally on my LAN. I assume it does on the remote end. I am coming in through a dynamic DNS address from the outside of that LAN.

I can view the web page directly through the URL I am supplying to my:ro.

Specs:

Home-built machine - ASUS P6T Deluxe, i7 2.66GHz, 3GB memory, Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit

So if you go to:
http://192.168.0.63:3005 from a browser in your network, nothing happens? That is the webserver running on Myro. I just want to make sure this is functioning.

This is how the video stuff works:
- Myro UI polls the local webserver
- local webserver goes out and grabs the external image from the IP source
- The image gets processed and made available to Myro as a local source jpg
- The image is displayed in the UI.

Can you list how many cameras and the types you are accessing? Are they local or remote?

Danny

Got it. I understand how you're making it work. I am getting no response in a browser window from the computer running the UI - the local web server (192.168.0.63:3005). I get he message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.63:3005."

3 cameras via an Axis video server. All three cameras are remote (local tot he video server, but remote from where my:ro is running) as is the HAI OmniPro II.

When you first loaded Myro, did a firewall alert pop up that asked to "Allow this application"? Also, can you restart the machine and see if it works again? When you connect to the local webserver you should see a welcome from Myro message.

Nope, no firewall alert. I have no firewall running on the machine - all turned off.

Once in a while, I can see the images displayed in my:ro. That is, sometimes, when I fire my:ro up, the images display, but rarely and I can't correlate those times with any specific set of actions - I can't seem to replicate the circumstances. A reboot sometimes does it, but sometimes it doesn't. I have never been able to get a response from the my:ro server running on port 3005.

Everything else seems to work fine. I'm afraid that I don't have any more time to play with it right, now, though. Thanks for all the fast responses. I'll have to think about whether I'll buy or not.

I believe its a network or security issue with Windows 7. As we have Myro running on many devices and OS versions and haven't seen this issue. I'll setup another Win7 machine to test...

If you have time, please let me know the following:
- What AXIS server are you using?
- If AXIS camera, is it a wireless or ethernet?
- Is the computer connected to network on Wireless or Ethernet?
- How many ethernet ports do you have on that computer?
- When you IPconfig from the CMD Prompt is the IP address of the machine the same as the one listed in Myro?

Thanks,
Danny

FYI: I think I have your issue... a fix will be issued soon (along with the iPhone app support/release).
