Hey Danny,

I am currently in the process of wrapping up the prewire phase of out project. In order to include your 8" in-wall touchscreen what cables do I need to run for it. Is it just cat5e and 14 awg speaker wire for power? What about the rough in bracket should we install it now before dry wall goes up? If so can I buy the bracket only or do I have to buy the touchscreen now in order to get it?

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

You are correct. That's really all the wiring you need. I would suggest you run a couple more Cat5e for future use, you could always turn them into serial, etc. The bracket comes with the unit and you can install it later. I can email you the details if you'd like.

Thanks,
Danny
