First, you need a TED Power Monitor... then, once you setup the TED, if using a TED 1000 the status from Green/Yellow/Red change the Energy Cost on the HAI to Low/Mid/High. The TED 1000 and Footprints server calculates the Green/Yellow/Red based on factors and thresholds you program into the TED 1000.
If you are using a TED 5000, and programmed a multi tier billing/metering like, tier 1 rates of 0-600KWh is $0.087 and you are still in tier 1... the Myro:Hom sets the HAI Energy Costs to Low. Once you hit Tier 2 billing (over 600kWh), it turns it to Mid. The High or Critical for the TED 5000 is reserved once I add "alarms" to the setup. The TED 1000 has alarms per programmed in the device, the TED 5000 does not and relies on 3rd party to build that.
Now you can trigger events like, turn off outside lights earlier based on Energy Costs!
