Public App Store release: 5.20
Release status verified on October 22, 2026. Availability can vary by region and device. These are the published release notes; in-review and TestFlight builds are separate.
Myro:Home Helper 5.20 adds Savant, shared rooms, cameras and photos.
NESS / ELK and Savant remain PREVIEW integrations; features vary by system and equipment.
NEW IN 5.20
• Optional HAI receivers: paired power, source, volume and mute controls alongside existing switches, with vendor-specific mute and a Home slider.
• Savant preview: local sign-in, room/activity discovery, source-specific transport, command discovery and live feedback. No cloud token or agent ID.
• Savant HomeKit: choose activity switches and Custom Names for Siri, with live on/off feedback. Activity ID changes recover through unique routes, preserving HomeKit identities and known script references.
• Savant scripting: react to room changes and combine permitted controllers with Vestaboard and other configured integrations.
• Rooms/cameras: edit toggles, shared visibility and photos, and a live wall (up to six visible feeds) with pooled snapshots, automatic reconnects and format fallback. Hide room controls without removing assignments; matched Savant activities support power and feedback.
• PRO and Classic sync rooms and cameras on request only, never in the background: tap Edit, then sync both ways, from Helper or to Helper. Panel rooms are hidden, never deleted.
• Camera wall: no refresh flicker or playback gaps; calmer retries and the Myro loading animation. Cameras follows Events.
• API > Rooms & Cameras opens a native editor for rooms, controls, visibility, photos and cameras with previews. A separate Photo Manager window imports, renames, replaces and combines exact duplicates. Savant photos download once.
• Fixed Remember Local User, AutoFill and connection indicators. Updated guides.
FROM 5.10 — FOR EVERYONE
• Siri and Shortcuts: set lights, press buttons/macros, read zones, units, thermostats, flags and outputs, or arm/disarm. Actions run in the background, even with your Mac locked; name a shortcut to use Siri.
• Arm needs no code, like HomeKit. Disarm needs your code, which the controller checks, with a lockout after repeated wrong codes.
• Scripts can offer Shortcuts/Siri actions with ScriptEvents.onShortcut after editor approval.
• MyroSystem.runShortcut runs a Mac shortcut and returns text; macOS asks once for permission.
• HomeKit bridge: requests that arrive in pieces no longer drop the connection.
• Sunrise and sunset schedules missed while the Mac slept run on wake if no more than 30 minutes late.
• Updated guides in the Help menu. Siri and Shortcuts actions need macOS 13 or later.
FROM 5.0 — HAI / LEVITON
• European controllers, first support: the HTTP API arms and disarms Omni LTe-EU, Omni IIe-EU and OmniPro II-EU with your code. Not-ready zones, wrong codes and lockout each return their own reason.
• Door readers report the last access (granted or denied, user number, time); thermostats report vacation hold.
• Blink a UPB light to find it, and more commands: messages, keypad beepers, door unlock, RadioRA 2 phantom buttons and Leviton scenes.
FROM 5.0 — NESS / ELK (PREVIEW)
• Add an M1 / M1 Gold, EZ8 or EZ24 through an M1XEP, M1XIP or C1M1. Helper asks before trusting the interface's certificate.
• ELK areas, zones, lights, outputs, tasks and thermostats work with HomeKit, scripts, the HTTP API and web control.
• Myro:Home Pro 2.0 receives ELK arming, alarm, tripped-zone and trouble Live Activities and push alerts.
• HomeKit and scripts arm with a code kept in your Mac's Keychain; the panel checks codes from the API and web control.
• Event log, keypad text, energy and rain counters, legacy M1XEP audio, and phone pairing by code or QR.
FROM 5.0 — FOR EVERYONE
• Controller Guides beside the Scripting Guide, and an AI scripting reference for only your controller families.
• Myro:Home apps learn your controller's LAN address from Helper for use at home.
• Web control: phone link with QR code; easier sign-in.
• HomeKit bridge: faster startup, more reliable pairing, up to 149 accessories.
