What Helper does
Myro:Home Helper is the always-on Mac companion for controller connections, push notifications, HomeKit bridging, logging, graphs, scripting and integrations. It can work on its own or alongside Myro:Home apps. HAI / Leviton is the core integration; NESS / ELK and Savant are previews with capabilities that vary by system.
First successful setup
- Use a Mac running macOS 12 Monterey or later on a trusted home network. Siri and Shortcuts actions require macOS 13 or later.
- Add the correct controller family and follow its guide. Enter network details and credentials locally. For HAI / Leviton, firmware 3.9 or later provides extended setup; supported 3.5+ systems have fewer capabilities.
- Connect and run Sync Now. Wait for names and supported objects to finish downloading. Run it again after changing the panel's configuration.
- Enable automatic connection and start at login for normal always-on use. Keep the Mac powered on, awake and connected.
- Add one service at a time: HAP for Apple Home, Notifications for phones, Logging/Graphs for history, then Scripting and other integrations as needed.
For ELK phone setup, Connection > Pairing provides a QR code or pairing code for Pro. Savant uses trusted-host discovery and a Savant Local User; follow its separate guide.

For help, reply with the app version, device/OS, controller model where relevant, what you expected, and what happened. Remove passwords, controller keys, security codes, API tokens and private camera URLs from screenshots and logs.
