Looking to buy HDMI Matrix switcher
« on: January 27, 2015, 12:47:36 pm »
Got my Russound setup with MCA-C5 and now want to add my TVs into the mix.
Any warnings or recommendations, especially as it pertains to myro:bridge?

Requirements/Desires (maybe most/all do this, but I like being specific, especially because I read a few horror stories):
Looking for stability on ALL existing connections when switching between sources and/or TVs with clean audio and video
Minimal lag between switching sources or initial HDMI handshakes
Doesn't make a lot of noise
Supports HDCP (hate to support this standard, but I hate potential incompatibility more)
Fully controllable from a myro:bridge perspective
Compatible with Redmere cable lengths
HDMI 1.4a or higher  (would love to hear anything about HDMI 2.0)

I can personally recommend matrix switchers by Key Digital and Wyrestorm.
