Report a Bug / Output Favorites not showing in Iwatch
« Last post by Sawadee on January 20, 2020, 10:03:43 am »
I have favorites showing up and being removed quickly on my Iwatch 4.
But any favorites from Outputs (set in Myro:home) do not show ever.
I believe this to be a bug.
I have two garage doors controlled from Outputs and have them set as Favorites.
Thanks

Hi Danner!

That seems odd... are you getting status updates of the switch showing up in the Home app on iOS?  Meaning, if the open the Home app on iOS, find the device in the app, then physically turn it on, does it show the device turned on in the Home app?

The only thing I can think of is that status updates are not occurring... can you create a support ticket and I can work with you to troubleshoot further?

Thanks!

I've been very happy with Myro:Home Helper.  It's well designed and reliable.  It's so great to be able to integrate my existing OmniPro with the HomeKit app and other HomeKit accessories.

One problem: I haven't been able to get the HAI accessories bridged with HAP to trigger any  HomeKit automation I've set up.  For instance, I'd like a UPB switch hooked up to the HAI system to be able to turn on a non-HAI controlled light that's connected via HomeKit.   Setting up an automation action to trigger when toggling the switch doesn't seem to trigger any automation (regardless of whether it's a HAI controlled accessory or a some other non-HAI HomeKit accessory)

Is this just a limitation of Home Helper?  Or is there something I'm missing in how I've setup my HAP server?

General Discussion / Re: Pandora refuses to stay "paused"

Hi!  Yes, it will auto resume if on the Pandora source... however, it should timeout if no controller is tuned to that source and/or the system is off.

General Discussion / Pandora refuses to stay "paused"
« Last post by jirapon on December 09, 2019, 03:20:51 am »
Using the My:Ro bridge with a Sonos sourcing to a Russound MCA-C3 and MDK-C6 keypads and the android Sonos app. It seems that although I pause the music stream in the Sonos app, it will eventually "un-pause" itself. I deduce this because although I pause the stream and power off the MCA-C3, when I check the app later, it is no longer paused. Is this related to the my:ro feature allowing uninterrupted play of Pandora? Is there a problem with letting the Pandora stream even without any amplifiers/speakers on? I want to be respectful and not cause Pandora royalty fees for music when I'm not listening. This doesn't happen with other music channels in my Sonos. (i.e. google play, music on device, etc) Any thoughts? Insights?

Report a Bug / Controlling Leviton ZWave Dimmers - Incorrect
« Last post by georgek on November 18, 2019, 08:01:39 pm »
First and foremost, great app!

Control tab All tab does not  accurately reflect current state of Z-WAVE switches.
I have several dimmers, switches (non-dim) and receptacles.    Some are activated by scheduled timers e.g. turn landscape light on 10 minutes before sunset.     Control tab shows Landscape as off after event occurs.

Another issue is with a dimmer switch.
Scenario:  Dimmer is at 52%.  Drag slider bar to 100% does not change brightness.   Slider goes to zero (status flashes off) then goes top 100 although brightness does not change.     Usually resets  status and slider bar to current dim level in a few seconds.

Sliding to other brightness levels less than 100 works most of the time.     Once you slide to 100 the app is unpredictable.   App seems to get out of sync with controller after several adjustments.    e.g. app show 90% and the lights are actually @ 22%.

Does one need to wait a few seconds between commands with Zwave devices?

Configuration:
iPhone X iOS 13.1.3
OmniPro IIe with 3.9 firmware
Leviton Zwave controller plugged into Serial Port 1 on OmniPro IIe

Installed demo version, deleted and installed full annual subscription (still in trial period)

Thanks!

To get back to the controller list, you can either double tap on the controller name or swipe down starting at the controller name when on the status tab.
