Feature Request / Connecting Screen Needed
« on: February 24, 2019, 05:46:26 am »
Been loving the fact of having a replacement for the old Haiku up and running! Everything has been great except for one minor annoyance --- and maybe it is only my brain seeing it this way -- when you start the app you see the last state of the system from the app's point of view which can be confusing if something or someone else changed it. After it connects, of course it will change to the actual state. I would personally like to see the app not show the remembered state on launch at all. I would rather see a fuzzed out "connecting..." screen or whatever HUI you can come up with and then the actual state of the system.

Thanks for the super quick direct support on tracking this 10.11.6 macOS bug down. I know the update still needs to be pushed to the official App Store but otherwise I am up and running on the interim build which is all I needed for now.

Created a ticket. No, I *AM* a US user. The helper app works fine under 10.13.6 (both running on a Mac Pro) but that's not where I need to run it. Is it written in Swift? I tracked down a text field anomaly that needs to be done a certain way to support 10.11 users in an app I am working on. A chance in a million that we would be seeing the same issue here but...

Excited to see this released -- however, the helper app is crashing on launch on 10.11.6. It is a server system running a couple of releases behind Mojave...

Still interested in testing -- especially when iOS version can get pushes from the helper.

YES! Looking for anything to replace Haiku and its vaporware successor. Push notifications died (again) when upgrading our iPhones. Maybe there is yet again another work around but I would rather support (and get support from) an existing product.
